Another protest is being planned in Epsom this afternoon, with organisers insisting the demonstration will be peaceful.

It follows a protest last Wednesday which was attended by hundreds of people.

The protests are in response to the reported rape of a woman in the town nine days ago, and the police response to it.

Officers said on Friday there is no evidence that the rape took place as reported to them.
