Two young sisters from Croydon have been honoured after helping save their mum’s life.

Six-year-old Pearl called 999 when her mum, Carole, had a life-threatening brain bleed, with her 4-year-old sister Amelia helping.

Paramedics arrived within minutes, and Carole, who’s 36, has since made a full recovery.

London Ambulance Service presented the sisters with commendation certificates and an ambulance tour for their bravery.
