Lambeth Council has sent its youth team onto the streets following a mass disturbance in Clapham High Street last week.

Children were filmed setting fireworks off and raiding shops in what’s thought to be the latest TikTok “swarm the streets” challenge.

The council says it’s working with the police to prevent repeats of the incidents and is using CCTV to support officer investigations.

The Met Police has warned parents to consider the consequences of their children’s actions.
