The Poppy Factory in Richmond has joined forces with six other charities on a special project supporting veterans in the South West.

The first ever network of government-backed support centres have opened in the region.

They’ll allow veterans to gain easier access to a number of services including health, housing and employment.

There are more than 260,000 former service personnel living in the South West of the country.
