The ex-Tory MP for Reigate and Banstead been fined £1200 after being caught with the substances in his home in 2023.
The raid followed separate allegations of rape, which were later dropped.
The 65-year-old told Westminster Magistrates Court he doesn’t believe possession of drugs should be a criminal offence.
