New rules on recycling are coming into force across Wandsworth at the end of this month, part of a scheme to make recycling simpler.

From the 31st clean foil, food trays, empty aerosol cans, and empty tubes such as toothpaste or tomato purée can be recycled.

You have to make sure items are clean, only recycle what’s allowed, and don’t put anything dangerous in your recycling.

The changes follow a big rise in recycling in Wandsworth, with thousands more tonnes recycled since last year.
