Work has started on the Twickenham Riverside project with groundwork now beginning to prepare the site for new buildings.

This stage, called piling, creates the foundations needed to support the development and will take around four weeks.

The project will bring new public spaces, homes, shops and better access to the River Thames.

The council says it will create a better riverside area for people to enjoy, with measures in place to limit disruption during the work.
