Work on a new skatepark in Cobham is due to get underway and is due to completion by the end of the summer holidays.

The plans have been three years in the making, shaped by a consultation that saw 199 responses from local riders and residents.

The project at Leg O’Mutton field is jointly funded by the council, Surrey County Council and local partners.

It will sit alongside recent upgrades at Cobham Recreation Ground, including a refurbished play area and an improved outdoor gym.
