A bone has been found at a site where excavators have been told the body of Muriel McKay is buried in east London.

She was kidnapped from her home in Wimbledon Village and killed in 1969 after being mistaken for the wife of media magnate Rupert Murdoch.

Forensics officers are at the scene, behind a betting shop in Hackney.
