Upgrades have started on the children’s and teenage areas at Balham Library.

Wandsworth Council is introducing brighter spaces, new seating and reading corners.

A temporary children’s library will operate downstairs during the works so regular activities can continue.

Funded by developers, the project follows recent upgrades at Putney Library and work is due to finish in the summer.
