Heathrow has recorded its busiest February with almost 6 million passengers travelling through its terminals.

The airport says that’s 110,000 more than the same month last year.

Bosses say it’s largely down to increased travel demand during half-term and Chinese New Year.

Meanwhile, annual profits at Gatwick have slumped after a drop in short-haul flight passengers.

It’s reported pre-tax earnings of around £423million which is down 7.3%
