Big changes will be in place when the people of Surrey head to the polls in May’s Local Elections.

All of the 12 existing councils are being scrapped and replaced with two brand new unitary authorities from April next year.

So, voters will instead be looking to elect councillors to the newly formed East and West Surrey Unitary authorities.
