A new housing development of around 300 homes is being planned for Priest Hill near to Ewell East station.
The proposal is currently at the early pre-application stage.
The land had previously been identified in the council’s draft Local Plan as an area for housing allocation but was removed due to concerns over deliverability.
A public engagement event has been arranged by the developers at Bourne Hall from 3.30pm until 7pm tonight.
