Money received through the crowd funder will be used to improve facilities by replacing steps, seating, changing rooms and handrails.
The club has received a conditional offer of £8,000 from Sports England but the remaining £8,000 must be met via fundraising.
Mitcham Bowling Club was established in 1930 and relocated to its current base at The Canons in 1965.
