One of the entrances to Lammas Park in Staines is likely to remain closed off until next month.

Flooding has led Spelthorne Borough Council to close the rear pedestrian gate which leads onto Church Road.

The authority says it will remain shut until the path can be properly cleaned and made safe.

But as further flooding is likely, council officers say cleaning works aren’t due to be carried out until March.
