It’s following reports that six youngsters aged 13 to 16 were “targeted” by the vehicles’ drivers on February the 4th.
The BMWs allegedly mounted the pavement in Garfield Road and Station Road near to where the teenagers were gathered.
Three people arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm with intent have since been released on bail.
