It’s good news for the borough where around 1 in 4 residents are aged 17 and under.
Nearly 5,000 children took part in Croydon Council’s latest happiness survey.
Four in five say they feel safe at school and 55% are proud to live in Croydon, which is up from 53% on the last survey done in 2022.
85% report they are in good general health and 73% rate their life positively.
