Queenstown Road station in Battersea will be closed, and many trains will have changed routes or skip some stops.

Services to places like Kingston, Woking, Guildford and Portsmouth will start or finish at different stations.

Engineers will follow up on track, signalling and electrical supply improvements that began over the Christmas and New Year period, closing some lines between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction.

Some services will not call at Earlsfield and Vauxhall, so customers should check their journeys carefully.

On SWR’s long distance network, train services between London Waterloo and Alton, Basingstoke, Poole, Portsmouth Harbour, Reading and Salisbury will be affected.

Saturday:

• Services between London Waterloo and Reading, Weybridge via Staines, Windsor & Eton Riverside, and London Waterloo via Richmond and Wimbledon, will all start and finish their journeys at Clapham Junction.
• Stopping services between London Waterloo, Basingstoke and Salisbury will be revised, with altered stopping patterns.

Sunday:

• Services between London Waterloo and Reading, Weybridge via Staines, Windsor & Eton Riverside, Woking via Staines and Wimbledon will all start and finish their journeys at Clapham Junction.
• Afternoon and evening services between London Waterloo and Kingston via Hounslow, and Portsmouth via Eastleigh, and Poole will not run.
• Services between London Waterloo and London Waterloo via Richmond and Wimbledon will only run between Clapham Junction and Richmond via Kingston.
• Services between London Waterloo and Chessington South will start and finish their journeys at Wimbledon.
• Services between London Waterloo and Exeter will start and finish their journeys at Basingstoke.
• Services between London Waterloo and Hampton Court will start and finish their journeys at Surbiton.
• Services between London Waterloo and Dorking will not run. Customers should consider travelling on Southern services from Clapham Junction or Epsom.
• Services between London Waterloo and Eastleigh, Guildford, Shepperton, Portsmouth Harbour, and Woking will all be revised, with altered stopping patterns.
• On both dates, services between London Waterloo and Alton will be affected by separate engineering work between Farnham and Alton.
