Heathrow has become the world’s largest airport to fully roll out new security scanners.

They allow passengers keep liquids and laptops in their bags.

The £1-billion upgrade allows liquid containers of up to two litres, ending the long-standing 100 millilitre rule for most travellers.

Bosses say it’ll cut queues, speed up security and save nearly 16 million plastic bags a year.
