A shard of glass is reported to have fallen out of the B&Q store at Shannon Corner in New Malden.

The busy junction was closed off a short time ago where it meets Burlington Road.

A spokesperson for the DIY chain says;

“B&Q can confirm the store is now open as usual and no one was hurt in the incident. The police attended to temporarily close the road whilst the glass was swept up. We are currently investigating the cause.”
