The government is on the verge of making a U-turn on business rates rises for pubs

Geetee Kajan operates a chain of six pubs in London and Surrey including the flagship Black Horse in Kingston.

According to industry body UK Hospitality one pub closes every day in England and Wales and over 2-thousand hospitality venues will close in the next year unless government finds a solution to its ill-fated business rates shake-up.
