People across Croydon are being urged to join this year’s Annual Holocaust Memorial Ceremony in the town.

The remembrance event will be held in the Council Chamber at midday on January the 27th.

The Civic Mayor will read the Croydon Pledge followed by a candle lighting and a minute’s silence.

This year’s Holocaust Memorial Day theme is “Bridging Generations.”

It’s a call to everyone to actively remember the past and carry lessons forward, not just survivors and their families.
