Amateur tennis player Jordan Smith beat Australian Open champion Jannik Sinner on his way to winning nearly half-a-million pounds in the One Point Slam in Melbourne.

He went on to beat British-born Joanna Garland in the final.

The unique competition sees players need to win just one point to progress to the next round.

Two-time Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz, Iga Swiatek and Alexander Zverev were among the big names to take part.
