Surrey Fire and Rescue Service has condemned repeated abuse and threats towards its staff, marking the second such incident in a month.

it’s reported that Business Support and Protection Officers were targeted while checking fire detection equipment in a property.

The service says it has zero tolerance for intimidation or violence, with all incidents reported to the police.

Residents are urged to respect staff and report fire safety concerns via official channels on the council’s website.
