Care Quality Commission inspectors recorded missed and late care visits, inconsistent staff and poor record-keeping at Allfor Care.

They also said some residents went without food, water, or medication and complaints were not properly addressed.

CQC says it will closely monitor the service while improvements are made and will return to check progress.

Allfor Care says:

“We acknowledge the CQC’s published findings and take them extremely seriously. The safety, dignity and wellbeing of the people we support is our absolute priority. Since the inspection we have been implementing a comprehensive improvement programme, strengthening oversight of visit punctuality, care planning, medicines processes and how concerns are escalated and responded to.

We are working closely with relevant partners and will provide further updates as we progress; we would encourage anyone with concerns to contact us directly so we can respond promptly.”
