Several residents from Weybridge, Staines and Esher have been recognised in the New Year Honours List.

Weybridge based Deborah Si Yin Lady Buffini has received a CBE for her work in philanthropy and supporting young people.

Cathryn Riley and Simon Grunwell, both from Staines, are honoured for their contributions to business leadership and national security.

Elizabeth Checkley from Esher is also recognised for her work improving access to justice.
