The comedian and TV star’s brought out several children’s titles under Harper Collins, including Mr Stink, Gangsta Granny and Grandpa’s Great Escape.
The company says it takes ’employee wellbeing extremely seriously’ and ‘has processes in place for reporting and investigating concerns.’
Arts and entertainment correspondent Katie Spencer says the decision’s been taken ‘under the leadership of the new CEO’.
Mr Walliams hasn’t responded to requests for comment.
