Years 6-8 pupils wrote and edited the book called Half Human: The Prison Key.
The story follows teenager Ryan Barnes, who discovers he is not fully human and must adapt to life in a distant alien world.
The students hope their book will inspire other young people to explore their creativity and get writing and reading.
