Police believe a series of suspected arson attacks in and around Ottershaw may be linked.

A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incidents, including a fire on Bittams Lane on the 21^st of November.

He is being detained under the Mental Health Act.

Officers are working to reassure the community while the investigation continues.
