Nottinghamshire will start their defence of cricket’s County Championship title against Somerset at Taunton in early April.

They lifted the trophy for the first time in 15 years this summer, preventing Surrey from being crowned champions for a fourth time in a row.

One-Day Cup holders Worcestershire meet Derbyshire in their opening game in July, with women’s trophy winners Lancashire away to Durham in April.
