The 1991 hit film The Silence of the Lambs starred Jodie Foster as young FBI trainee Clarice Starling.
She was tasked with hunting a serial killer, seeking the advice of the imprisoned psychiatrist Hannibal Lecter played by Anthony Hopkins.
The film, based on the book by Thomas Harris, remained at number 1 in the US box office for over 5 weeks.
It also grossed over £4 million in the UK, a record at the time.
