A charity’s campaigning for the release of four animal species to the Scottish Highlands.

Trees for Life is bidding for Beavers, Lynx, our native Red Squirrels and a species of cattle to be returned to the wild.

Wild Beavers were introduced along the River Wey Weybridge in 2021 as part of a conservation initiative led by the Wildwood Trust.

The scheme aims to raise £3.6 to fund the missing species programme to improve the environment and increase nature tourism.
