Extra officers are being deployed as part of a wider initiative across six areas in London to target shoplifting, robbery, and other offences.
The move follows new information-sharing agreements with local businesses, which have already helped identify 92 wanted offenders.
The initiative is part of the Met’s ongoing efforts to protect communities, retail staff, and businesses from organised retail crime.
