Young people in Sunbury and Tadworth have been helping to improve community safety across Surrey.

The Positive Futures project has seen 37 youths working with police and schools to tackle issues like vandalism and littering.

They’ve suggested better lighting, CCTV, signage and extra bins, some of which have already been implemented.

The University of Surrey says the project boosted confidence, belonging and trust in the authorities.
