British tennis player Cameron Norrie fell short in his attempt to reach the quarter-finals of the Paris Masters.

The former Wimbledon semi-finalist was beaten in straight sets by Monaco’s Valentin Vacherot.

Norrie went into the match on the back of what he called a career-best victory over world number one Carlos Alcaraz.
