25-year-old Muhammed Cabdiqaadir has been charged with murder and possession of a bladed object.
19-year-old Rinneau Perrineau was attacked on Lavender Hill at around 3:30pm on Tuesday.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, but despite the efforts of medics, he died on Friday.
