Bosses of children’s hospices have welcomed a new £80million boost for their services.

Shooting Star Children’s Hospice in Hampton is just one set to benefit from the funding boost.

The government’s pledged the funding in England over the next three years.

Last week, it emerged 57% of hospices ended the last financial year in deficit, with a fifth operating at a loss of more than 1-million pounds.
