The youngster was taken into custody on Tuesday after allegedly riding it dangerously and injuring an elderly man.
The rider reportedly failed to stop for police and later attempted to evade officers by mounting the pavement.
Police have seized the bike and are warning they will take a zero-tolerance approach to illegal or anti-social e-bike use.
