The Purple Elephant Project provides specialist creative therapies and emotional support for youngsters navigating trauma and anxiety.

Munira Wilson is the Lib Dem Spokesperson for Education, Children and Families.

She was chosen for the role because of her work advocating for young people.

This includes campaigning for a qualified mental health practitioner in every school.

“I am truly honoured to become Patron of The Purple Elephant Project. I’ve seen first-hand how vital their work is in supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and giving them the tools to thrive. The charity’s commitment to early intervention and long-term support makes a life-changing difference to children and families, and I am excited to help shine a light on their impact. I look forward to continuing to raise awareness of their work, championing the importance of children’s mental health in Parliament, and helping them reach even more families.” Munira Wilson MP

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Munira as our Patron. Her passion for children’s mental health and deep understanding of the challenges families face align perfectly with our mission. Having Munira’s support will help us raise the profile of our work, strengthen our voice, and champion the needs of children in our community.”
