Tributes are being paid to one of Fulham’s oldest residents who has died at the age of 101.

Wartime bride, Lil Francis, lived her whole life in the area having been born in Cassidy Road in 1924.

She worked in a factory supporting the Second World War effort after leaving school.

Lil had six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and had lived at a sheltered housing scheme in Eternit Walk for the past 20 years.
