26 year old Declan George-Candiani was found with extreme right-wing material on his phone during a schedule 7 stop in August.
A later search of his home uncovered further documents likely to assist acts of terrorism.
He was convicted at the Old Bailey on the 3rd of October and will be sentenced on the 28th of November.
