Croydon has come out on top in a new report from the Care Quality Commission.

CQC inspectors have rated the borough’s adult social care services as Good.

Their report notes however, that support for unpaid carers hasn’t always been consistent.

The report shows some carers weren’t aware of options like respite or direct payments.

But the CQC says Croydon should, on the whole, be “really pleased.”
