The Prostate Project hopes to raise £250,000 to support research at the University of Surrey.
The vaccine is designed to help the body’s immune system kill any cancer cells left after surgery.
Charity chairman Martin Davies said the research could save over 1,500 UK lives a year, and thanked donors for their support.
