Young people in Surrey have now made one million bus journeys at half price.

The Surrey ‘LINK’ card, launched in 2023, gives anyone aged 20 or under 50% off bus trips across the county.

Around 19,000 young people use the card, making 100,000 bus trips a month, with students benefiting the most.

Surrey County Council says the scheme helps make bus travel cheaper and is part of plans for greener, better buses.
