The council says it secured the accolade after seeing “dramatic” increases in performance across 30 sports since last year.
The London Youth Games Foundation delivers the games which include over 160,000 Londoners aged 7 to 17 annually.
Kingston achieved 5 gold medals, 7 silvers and 1 bronze at this year’s events.
