Community groups across Reigate and Banstead are going to be allowed to take over some council buildings.

The authority is to be abolished in 2027 as part of the government’s devolution plans.

Community halls, allotments, sports pavilions and open spaces will be handed over to the community to run as a result.

THere will be a two-stage process with interested parties invited to submit a bid at a later date.
