The brigade was called to a fourth-floor home in a block along London Road just after 5pm yesterday.
The fire is believed to have been accidental and was caused by the unsafe use of incense.
An LFB spokesperson says, “It’s really important that you never leave these items unattended.”
There are no injuries reported.
