Professional dog walkers in Richmond are being reminded they need to apply for a license before the 24th of this month

The council says people hoping to provide dog walking services within the borough cannot start until they have one.

They will also only be able to walk 6 dogs at a time and at one of six designated sites.

Licences are currently granted for two years from the date of issue.
