The animal appeared to “go” for a cockapoo who suffered a puncture wound and had to be lifted away by its owner on Monday afternoon.
A Met Police spokesperson said they sent an emergency response team to the scene to carry out enquiries and take statements.
It is illegal to breed, sell, gift, advertise, or have XL Bully dogs in public without a muzzle and lead in England and Wales.
