It wasn’t such a good night for AFC Wimbledon at the Cherry Red Records Stadium last night.

In their first game in Southern Group M of the Vertu Trophy, AFC Wimbledon were defeated 5-1 by Stevenage at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

Goals from Gassan Ahadme, Phoenix Patterson, Beryly Lubala, and Harvey White earned Stevenage three points and an impressive performance in their Vertu Trophy opener.

The final score was AFC Wimbledon 1 – 5 Stevenage.
